It's Father's Day, and that means gifts of aftershave from the CVS store, and a time to think about the role of a father in the family. Sometimes, it seems that in our enthusiasm to support the (mostly) women who find themselves trying to raise children alone, we may have inadvertently devalued the importance of dad.
