We throw words like "Messiah" and phrases like "Son of God" around
with pretty fair abandon, but what does Mark really mean when he begins
his Gospel with the words, "The beginning of the good news of Jesus
Christ, the Son of God?"
The first readers of Mark's
Gospel were no more clear on words than we are. Mark undertook his
Gospel to "show" them the meaning of the words. Join the congregation
